Making Studio Space: Keeping it cool

A lot has happened in the past few months, but it's not quite time for me to move in to my new studio. But I think this is a good opportunity to show you some great BEFORE and AFTER footage.
Starting with the wall unit A/C, which by the way has never worked. So let's change that! Getting the old unit out was a bit cumbersome and the A/C was quite heavy. I wasn't' sure if I could find a unit which would fit and if I could install it myself, but I did it! It took a few tries to fit it into the opening and to make sure that it was pitched the right way, but now it works like a charm! The decorative openings in the wall still need to be covered to keep the elements out. I've already ordered sheets of plexiglass, which I'll mount at a later time.
Moving on to the door, which is pretty beat up. I'd love to install a new one, maybe even with a window at some point, but until then, I had to work with the old one. I patched some holes, sanded and painted both sides of the door. Even with those simple changes the door looks much improved!
I scrubbed the work-surface so many times, but it never really looked clean. So obviously it had to be painted too. Wait until you see how nice it looks now! Another step closer to moving in.
