Making Studio Space: Paint it white

Almost every surface in my new studio is getting a fresh coat (or 2-3) of paint. I really wish that I had a fast forward button, because I truly underestimated how long it would take me to get everything painted: new drywall, ceiling, concrete walls. The most satisfying part was seeing the decorative concrete wall transform. Looks like my house used to be pink when it was built in the 50s. Even though I love the color pink and this shade is similar to the one I use in a lot of my paintings, it has to go. There is more painting to do in the coming days to include the workbench and door, but for now I'm happy with my progress.

As always, paint makes everything better!

This post really shows the persistence behind a true renovation, especially when it comes to ceilings and tight spaces. Tackling gypsum board room by room highlights how demanding quality drywall work can be. Stories like this make you appreciate how professional drywall services can streamline the process while still delivering solid, long-lasting results.
