Making Studio Space: Moving in

It's finally time to move in my studio! But first I sealed the floor with a clear coat for protection, nothing fancy. This will be a workspace after all.

I added some boards to the existing work counter for additional storage. Eventually I'll come up with a solution to conceal all the items stored below the counter. I cleaned up the large tool chest and organized my tools, paint cans, rollers, brushes, etc. It feels great having all my things easily accessible and I'm ready to begin creating. Now I have room to paint on bigger canvases and to expand and experiment more with my magnetic painting concepts. I also see a large animal sculpture in my near future.

This video will be the last in the series "Making Studio Space" before the big reveal. If you want to see my completed studio you'll have to come to the grand opening in connection with Palm Beach County Open Studios on May 17th & 18th, each day from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
