If you've seen my recent Artist Takeover of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council's social media then you might already know that I am working out of my home, but as I expand my practice there are things that I can no longer do in my living room. I've been seriously debating renting studio space somewhere but at the moment the benefits of staying put outweigh moving to a different location. I am a homebody who likes to be close to my family and pets. Being able to step out into my beautiful backyard to recharge and be inspired is essential for me. It also helps to be able to throw in a load of laundry between paint coats.
... Which brings me to the neglected storage space underneath my carport. This room has become a bit of a catchall and really, REALLY is in need of some major TLC. But I know that it has potential. So I’ve decided to turn it into an extension of my creative space, to work with resin, spray paint, and tackle some small wood-working projects.
Follow along over the coming months for weekly video updates.
I invite you to join me for the reveal during Palm Beach County Open Studios in May when you'll be able to visit me, learn more about my creative process and see my latest work up close and personal. Mark your calendars for May 17 & 18, 2025. Until then watch it all unfold on my blog.
