Making Studio Space: It's all crumbling

Making my new space a bit brighter is important, so today was a step in the right direction. Many years ago someone covered the decorative openings in the concrete wall with plywood, probably to protect the space from the elements. Since then the plywood has started to crumble. It was so satisfying removing sections by hand and with the help of a hammer. Letting in that natural light feels great! Of course I'll need a solution to continue to let the light in, but keep the rain out. But more to this later. Today I also removed the old A/C unit, which has never worked. It was quite heavy, so it took me a moment to lift it out.
